How to Take Care of Dark Knuckles and Elbows

It is seen in a survey that forty percent of the population suffers from dark or hard skin on elbows and knuckles. Dark elbows and knuckles are formed mainly due to friction and vitamin deficiency. Here are some home remedies that you can follow-

Mix 2 tsp lemon juice, 2-3 tsp sugar and ½ tsp of glycerin. Take a lemon half, dip it in the solution and rub on the dark areas. Leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse well with warm water. Repeat the procedure for four to five consecutive days. Here lemon acts as natural bleach while sugar acts as an effective scrub.

Take lemon halves and rub on knuckles and elbows before taking bath. Wash and apply Sesame seed oil. Scrub with a loofah while bathing. Apply a moisturizing cream and massage on these areas immediately after your bath while the skin is still damp.
